Meet Tristan

Tristan was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. He played all of his minor hockey locally and went onto play for Regina’s Midget AAA team, the Regina Pat Canadians. During his final season with the team, he was named team captain. After playing for the Regina Pat Canadians, Tristan played in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League for the Melfort Mustangs. Tristan and his team won two consecutive back-to-back league championships. Following their 2015 League Championship, the Mustangs went onto play in the Royal Bank Cup.

 
 

After Tristan graduated from junior hockey, he signed a letter of intent with the University of Regina Cougars in the USPORTS league. In Tristan’s third season with the Cougars he was named team captain, making him the youngest captain in Cougar history. In March of 2019, Tristan was selected to play for Team Canada at the World University Games in Krasnoryarsk, Russia. Tristan and his teammates captured the bronze medal during the tournament where they also played Great Britain, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden and Kazakhstan. He holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Regina. Tristan currently plays professionally in Europe for the Guildford Flames in the EIHL (UK).
